- ADD : Attention Deficit Disorder. The term ADD is usually referring to ADHD (a subtype which includes hyperactivity). ADD without hyperactivity is also known as ADD/WO (Without) or Undifferentiated ADD.
- ADD-RT : ADD that lasts into Adulthood is referred to as ADD-RT (Residual Type).

- ROP : Retinpathy of Prematurity. A condition in which blood vessels which should grow across the back of the eye actually grow forward.
