Excellence in Inclusive Education Award

The Department of Mental Retardation Central Region will be honoring five local professionals who exemplify Excellence in the Practice of Inclusive Education.

The Excellence in Inclusive Education Award has five Categories:

The award will include a cash stipend to be presented at a ceremony in the first part of June.  All nominees will be recognized with a certificate.  Parents can nominate teachers and administrators who demonstrate successful inclusive education.  Even if you have submitted in previous years, we welcome and encourage you to re-submit a nomination of a deserving teacher or administrator.

Please consider recognizing a teacher, aide or administrator who demonstrates excellence in inclusive education.  We need to publicly recognize those individuals who are trying to make a difference in the lives of our children.
