THE FAMILY ADVISORY BOARDof the

Parents/Guardians of children being cared for by the Children's Medical Center, whether inpatient or outpatient, for well childcare or subspecialty care are invited to join the Family Advisory Board. Your opinions are valued. Your participation is important. Your support is appreciated.
The Family Advisory Board, an energetic group of parents, is an important component of the Children's Medical Center (CMC). Its missions and goals include:
Acting as a resource to families, the community and the administration of the CMC
Actively participating in the planning, delivery and evaluation of services to children and their families
Establishing a core of family members to serve as advocates and advisors to the Family Centered Care mission of the CMC
Promoting opportunities for family support and networking
Providing opportunities to participate in educational and training programs for health care providers
Monthly meetings are held at the University Campus of UMass Memorial Health Care, on the third Wednesday evening of each month. Parking vouchers are available to meeting attendees.
